  1. Good evening everyone,

my AnyDVD HD 6.4.1.0 no longer works. The test has expired. The key I bought doesn't work. It was probably for an older version.

Where can I get a current full version that is also clean? I'm willing to buy the program if it's not too expensive.

You can find some links on Google.

Or is there a better alternative to AnyDVD HD?

    Thank you very much,
    Heiko

Hi all - Wasn't the straight DVD ripping functionality supposed to be free?
Does that, at least, still work?

  5. I am just finishing my massive dvd to mkv project and be warned, dvd fab can make for crappy rips. I either use dvd decrypter, yes it can still work, or make mkv to create a like for like mkv then encode that if desired.

I do not believe AnyDVD was ever free.
I originally bought AnyDVD with a lifetime key & then upgraded to AnyDVD HD lifetime.
Then got screwed when slysoft & it's owner disappeared.
This to me was a scam to get out of the lifetime keys.
Then redfox took over the name & did not honor the lifetime keys.
redfox claimed they were a new company.
They offered NO PROOF they had purchased the copyright for the name AnyDVD.
Or their rights to use the code for the exact same software.
Now they have went out of business their second scam.

Even the old AnyDVD will still work on a lot of DVDs.
HD works on more. But since they have no server the CSS keys are not updated.
    So some DVDs won't rip.
I expect it is the same for bluray.

I usually use DVDFab Passkey to rip blurays.

  9. I work most with DVDs so my DVDFab which was originally the Platinum lifetime.
It was supposed to do bluray also.
When DVDFab went modular all that changed.
My supposed to include everything Platinum became only DVD copy & ripper.
I also have DVDFab Passkey for DVD & bluray lifetime.
But it won'r rip most UHD blu rays.
Also a seperate module for Cinavia.Which has kind of faded away.
I always felt Cinevia was a "copy protection".
The web page for Platinum stated it would have ALL DVD copy protection updates.
Like the saying goes "It is what it is" & I sure don't have the money to hire a lawfirm to go after either one.
