  1. Hi!
Does anyone know a method to record an encrypted livestream (.mpd) and decrypt it later? I know the stream link, but not the key (yet) and since it's live content it would be nice to archive it anyway, decrypting it later.

From the 'basic' N_M3u8dl-re command I usually use:
    N_M3u8dl-re.exe "link.mpd" --key kid:key -sa all -sv best --live-real-time-merge --live-pipe-mux --use-shaka-packager
...I've tried to just remove the decryption parts
    N_M3u8dl-re.exe "link.mpd" -sa all -sv best --live-real-time-merge --live-pipe-mux
but the muxed output is corrupted and can't be decrypted, even if I know the key. I'm pretty sure this isn't the right way to do it...

I'd be glad if anyone could help, thanks in advance

  4. I don't know why my reply was deleted (?). Btw, thanks for your help; when I'll know the key, what command should I use to decrypt and merge the downloaded segments? Thanks in advance
