  1. I'm looking at purchasing this product for DVD authoring. I like Ulead DVD Workshop, but need to be able to provide multiple audio tracks. Any comments pro/con regarding this product?

    Thanks!

  3. RabidDog,
There is no demo for Impression Pro. I've seen a short training demo and it doesn't look too bad. But, it didn't show the menu creation. That's what I understand was cumbersome for some. I talked to Ulead tech support regarding using multiple audio tracks (director's cut) and they said it would be available in 1.3. I've read what I could on 1.3, but didn't see that mentioned, so think they're maybe confusing it with using elementary streams. I'm going to call them again, maybe get someone different. The alternate audio isn't an absolute necessity, but one client would like it. Anyone know of any other way to add an alternate audio track inside/outside of Ulead DVD Workshop? Thanks.

Pinnacle Impression DVD Pro is an excellent program that has has a lot of great features ...

menu creation is easy to use ..

its not as user friendly as dvdit but then again it can support ac3 5:1 files and has better menu navigation abilities..

  6. Well, I don't really know whether you already know that, but I was using Pinnacle Impression DVD SE which was in the bundle of my Pinnacle DV500DVD video-cutting package and I had to realize that this program is not able to write on DVD+R mediums. So if you want to produce DVD+R mediums I would think about using Impression DVD once again.

In addition the Pinnacle customer support is really bad. They even don't know of what you're speaking if you call their support team. On email-questions they took several WEEKS (!!) to answer and the answer wasn't really problem solving at all.
