As the name of my post suggests, given the way technology has now become, I have been wondering about whether there are any video apps to automatically remove certain scenes? I know of the online apps that will do such things as remove pauses and so on from videos being prepared for YouTube, etc., but what I am thinking of is something that may help in the tedious tasks of removing such things as certain visual elements in a video that appears more than once.
I shall cut to the chase with an example or two. I have some classic old TV shows where the commercial break logos still appear (ie End Of Part One), so it got me thinking as to how wonderful it would be if there was something to find and remove these without having to do so myself!
I currently have been using Vegas Pro for my editing, but I'm going to replace it very soon with possibly Davinci Resolve once my Vegas subscription expires in a few weeks from now.
