I used the registry hack posted before for aditional capturing resolutions in power vcr 3.0, but it makes non-compliant SVCD-s which are not playable on my standalone DVD player.
I use Nero 5.5.9.9 for burning SVCD-s
Why is that since I used SVCD settings "by the book"?

manica,
I take it from your post that Nero is throwing up an error notice about the file being non-compliant. It might help if you post the details about what the error message contains to see exactly what isn't compliant in the file. One possible work-around for the time being would be to demux the file with TMPGEnc and remultiplex with either TMPGEnc or bbMPEG using the SVCD setting to put the correct header on it. Then run it back thru Nero for burning and see what happens.Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack -
Sorry, I forgot to provide a error description.
Well, Nero says that the stream is illegal for SVCD disk and that I should turn off the SVCD compliance or reencode the file.
I know for the workaround, but I just want a simple "capture and burn" solution.
I think maybe it is my capture card (Hauppauge WinTV Primio) which can not capture at that resolution and it captures only mono sound (not stereo).
What do you think about that?
