  1. Hi to all,

I am completely lost when it comes to fixing problems with codecs. Can anyone direct me to a site or something that can walk me through. I'm not quite sure where they are located on my hard drive.

    thanks,

    R.S.

I do not know where mine are either. Probably in the system drawer somewhere. No matter, you just download them, extract them and let the installation program put them where they belong.

Anyway, look here for Nimo Lite Codec.

  4. Thanks for the responses, I'm running 2000NT: and my problem started a little while after installling the Nimo Codec Pack. Some of my media players were acting sort of buggy. So I uninstalled it and now any mpgs I download or encode for VCD use all have the little windows icon instead of the normal media player icon.( like I don't have any program that will properly play them). Media player & Quicktime will play them anyways but they won't burn a VCD properly because it says they need to be encoded even after they are. If I override the warning the play is choppy and audio is horibly out of sinc. Any sort of fix anyone has for this problem will be greatly appreciated. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing media player 7 and DivxPro already and it didn't help.
