ok first off saying sorry if I posted this in the wrong section I'm not even sure if this forum is the right place for my problem but I'm dying for answers and have tried like EVERYTHING possible.
So I have 5 videos that I recorded with the software Bandicam (free version cause why not) I deleted them and used a recovery software to find them again and managed to recover them. 2 of them seem to be working condition no problems with the video or audio. 2 of them are corrupted and prompt me with an error using the program on windows "Movies & TV"
It says:

I looked up this error and tried downloading the codecs that the videos used and still it didn't work. I tried using a mp4 video recovery software that was apparently so good and still no luck. I even tried using the "VLC" player and still while the file doesn't show an error it just doesn't work at all. I need major assistance at this point I believe these two files are corrupted without any way to fix them without paying top dollar. If it matters it doesn't show has 0.0MB it actually has data in the file. But still not enough for me to understand so hopefully someone can help me out.
And finally on to the last video I have 1 that lets me open it.. it's around a 10 minute video and for the first 9 minutes it's just a "pixelated" (if that's a word) screen for example:

and then the last minute of the video is perfectly fine.
If any of these 3 videos are fixable I would love a way to fix them. I am looking for anyway to uncorrupt them if possible. I tried like all of the mp4 recovery programs there are and no luck. Thanks all

What I try with corrupted video is to attempt to open them with VirtualDub2 using the 'Hex editor' feature under 'Tools'.
If the video contains mostly zeros, there probably is no data there to salvage. If you see lots of seemingly random numbers, probably data.
A completely corrupted file or one missing video may still show a size, so indicated size may not mean anything.
You might also try MediaInfo in text mode as it should tell you (And us, if you post the text file here) more about the specifications of the video.
And I assume you are aware that if the media was written to after the delete, the files may have been overwritten.
And welcome to our forums. -
I think it's a good sign then because I see TONS of random numbers in both of the files generating an error and even the file that is just showing a blurred screen.
(In VDub2 not MediaInfo if that matters)
So what shall I do with this information now that I have it? -
I believe this is what you wanted? a report of one of the good condition videos.

(not sure if it's a bad sign that when I try to get any report on a file that is not working using this app it shows nothing besides the name of the video.) and hopefully this doesn't give any information that shouldn't be given away sorry I'm new at this -
Give this tool a try there is a free trial, and it will fix (if it can) 50% without any cost to you
https://www.videohelp.com/software/Video-Repair-Tool
A couple of things you can do further, compare the headers in the hex editor and compare the good file with the bad.
See if you can see anything obvious.
If the files are not too big, you can also post a good and bad file in the forum here
and somebody will take a look.
Use the upload file/manage attachments button -
Unfortunately the first solution was no success. I mean I've tried repair tools for this already and while all try to repair it they never succeed which probably means it's too corrupted which is a huge bummer for me.
To your second point I've noticed the good file (being the left sheet) has more "word" type letters if that makes sense or at least more than the bad file (being the right sheet)

Yes the header is damaged/missing, for example, the mdat section denotes the beginning of data (3rd line), but I do not see it in the 2nd file.
The 4 bytes preceding the "mdat" is the length of the section
Probably something overwrote the file, much more likely if it was on the system disk
Windows is running from. -

I would also try restore.media uncorrupt tool (it's an updated version of recover_mp4), and if it doesn't help, then that's it.
At least the guys from restore.media would tell you why it can't be fixed (if you ask them to fix it manually).
Maybe, if it's not overwritten, there is still a chance.
