    ADMIN: PLease re-post this in the appropriate category if I have chosen the wrong one.

    I have a total of three programs that capture video frames for thumbnails from video files. All three of these produce very dark images.
    Does anyone know how this process works that 3 programs produce the same bad results? do they rely on the default video player or...heck, what?
    Any ideas?
