OK, so i have an avi of good quality when viewed on my PC, no blockiness and good synch on the sound. I burnt it to VCD using nero 5.5 and I have two problems.
1. The picture is a bit blocky and at times completely breaks up. is this because it is now on a larger screen as I am watching it through my standalone.
2. half way through the first CD, the sound goes about 3 or 4 seconds out of sync. it is in sync on the avi.

divx is a lot like mp3 if some thing is the same it cuts it out and puts a repater coded message telling the codec/ mp3 codec to play show that colour/sound again . buy changing the film back /over to vcd it could have found a few black holes
