Magic DVD ripper

This is by far the best free DVD ripping software I've ever used, but whenever I rip hand-drawn animation with it it makes diagonal lines look all jagged, what's the best way to fix this?

The program isn't 'ripping', it's encoding your video to a lower quality format, maybe Divx?.
You probably need to up the bitrate for the encoding or try a different program.

You might try VidCoder as it's also free and has quite a few quality adjustments for encodes to different formats.
