    Hello All.....
I've been a Vegas Pro user for several years now and for some reason I can not remember how to call up the filename of an event that is on the timeline. I know how to use PROPERTIES but I want to see the filename on the actual event sitting on the timeline, (looks like c:/myfiles/video project) --- so I can see what folder it came from. I remember doing this in Vegas 8 & 9, but for the life of me I can't seem to remember how to do it now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks again.

Post #2 shows how you will see the filename on the timeline event.

Post #3 shows how you will see the path etc. in the Project Media window. Click the Views button above it and choose the Details setting.

You could of course rename Active Take to include the path.
