  1. I have several .VAC files which should be audio recordings that I am trying to listen to for work, however I have no idea how to access them. I have no application that can play these and I'm not really sure where to begin since google has failed me. Anyone have any ideas?

You should start by telling us WHERE/HOW you got these.

Then, use MediaInfo on them to report exactly and in detail what type of file IT considers them to be.

Note that there was a previous thread here that tried to help: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/353345-VAC-file-Play-or-Convert. Maybe it would be helpful to you.

Also, "no application that can play these" doesn't tell us much either. Which applications have you tried?
