I'm wondering about the possibility of monitoring/capturing the video being shot with my camera using the HDMI connection from the camera realtime into my laptop somehow. I've checked various video forums, but I'm not sure I'm asking the question properly. I'm looking for a low cost solution to doing live (time delay) broadcasting without having to wait to transfer and then re-encode the video. Has anyone ever been able to do that with this particular camera or am I trying to fit a square peg into a round hole?
Thanks for any expertise being shared!

Have not used your specific camera, but any HDMI output can be connected to computer using an external box such as Blackmagic Intensity. Works fine with Livestream/YouTube. Delay would be a software function. Can't speak to that as we've always gone live.

Thank you for the quick response. I'll be looking at that configuration as a possibility. I've been looking at LiveStream as a possibility along with hosting it myself on a webserver, but the physical aspect of doing it seemed a little daunting due to my lack of knowledge in the video field. I'm a amateur musician who has been doing sound for several years, but haven't had the opportunity to mess with video. I want to figure this out for broadcasting church services and community events such as middle/high school basketball games, plays and such. I have access to bandwidth, so that isn't a problem, just what equipment to use and how to use it.....lol.
Once again, thank you very much for pointing me in a direction. -
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
