Hi there, hope you can help with my query...

I recently purchased a Cyclone Primus V2 media player and iI'm now in the process of converting all my DVDs into digital files so that I can stream them from the media player. I converted a few DVDs to ISO files and used D-Vision 3 to merge the main movie VOBs into 1 giant VOB. I tested these giant VOBs quickly in VLC and they play perfectly, and also included embedded subtitles (when I manually select them from the video+subtitles track menu). However, when I put them onto the media player's internal HD and play them the subtitles don't appear and aren't available to select.

Am I doing something wrong in the merge process? I have tried moving the entire movie's Video TS folder onto the media player and I've found that it plays with the subtitles, but there is an annoying pause when the movie is moving between Vob chapters

So basically, how do I merge movies into 1 VOB file including subtitles?

    Many thanks, Tom

  2. I'd suggest using MakeMKV to put your DVD into an MKV container (no reencoding). If your player is any good at all it'll play it with the subtitles.
