Software with timeline

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a software that has timeline subtiles editor, like PowerDirector with + an - button to add or discard subtitle and with the range esitor...look at the pic:

There is no other software that works exactly the same as Powerdirector (why not stick with it?) but many that have equal or more powerful functionality.

Are you trying to end up with embedded subtitles or subtitles that can be turned on or off during playback?

subtitles that can be turned on or off during playback. my Pc isn't powerful enought to run PowerDirector 13 (just PowerDirector 12 and I've encoder error sometimes)

Then just use one of the many free, lightweight subtitle editors available in the software dropdown at the top of this page. I'm partial to SubtitleEdit, but there are a number of good ones. You can align subtitles to waveforms as a visual reference.

Encoder errors usually have nothing to do with subtitle issues. Are you actually editing theses videos or are you just adding subs?
