    I found the hack for Philips BDP7700. Would it work for BDP7750 too?

    These days hacks usually only work on the specific model they are listed for, but I suppose you could always try. Please be aware that if you are able to unlock your Philips BluRay player that their unlocked BluRay players do NOT convert between NTSC and PAL, unlike their DVD players which (as far as I know) all do convert between NTSC and PAL. So what this means is that if you live in an NTSC country like the USA or Canada, there is a good chance that your TV may not be able to handle PAL type signals, including high definition at 25 or 50 fps. With Philips BluRay players, if they have PAL input, they only produce PAL output. If they have NTSC input, they only produce NTSC output. No conversion. If you live in a PAL country then your TV should be able to handle NTSC type frame rates and resolutions so you should be OK.
