Using my AIW pro capture card, I capture @ 352x480 – VBR 2.3 audio 48 kHz (no encoding) Cut commercials with TMPG – 2pass VBR. Authored with Spruceup 1.1 to enter chapter points and burned to CDR (I don’t have a DVD burner) Put end result in my Pioneer444 DVD player but it won’t play. The DVD player recognizes the CDR as a CD. Can anyone give me some info on this? I like Spruceup due to the fact that it’s so easy to add chapters. (I just use the slide bar and click the chapter flag button) is there another authoring software that is equally as easy to add chapters that will play in a Pioneer444 DVD player????????????
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

You are creating miniDVD/cDVD and that won't work on any Pioneer DVD Player. Very few supports miniDVD.

You have to create SVCD, CVD or VCD. -
Thanks Baldrick,
It looks like I’ll have to go with VCDeasy or TSCV to be able to enter chapter points.
