i was using various usb capture devices to watch tv, but over time, i was having random crashes or lockups for one reason or another and i got tired of it and went back to my old trusty pinnacle studio av/dv analog capture card.
so for some time now, i've been using the graph below to watch tv. however, due to the way the card works, i am not able to get the graph to show the true 720x480 dimensions. it is only showing about 352x240 and i just stretch or maximize it when i want to watch full screen tv.
i was unable to figure out how to fix this in graphstudio and just lived with it, but now, i would like to finally solve the issue and get the true 720x480 dimensions so that the picture is at least sharp. does anyone know what i need to add to the graph below to obtain the true 720x480 ? note, i don't want to stretch via graph code since i can and do that now. thank you.

i finally figured out what the problem was, the crossbar and ffshow and renderer. i had to disconnect all filters, make a few changes and reconnect all.
1. i had to disconnet the pin from ffdshow filter first
2. update the crossbar to 720x480
3. reconnect to the ffdshow filter, then ffdshow to VMR**1 renderer filter
4. finished
but one side-effect, when i changed to 720x480, the EVR**2 renderer was no longer accepting the connections, so i had to use a different renederer. and doing so caused a huge color shift. the video was so dark i couldn't seen anything. i had to update the color levels of the studio avdv outside its normal range. i just have to remember to change it back to the last known proper settings if i want to capture from the card or else the color levels will be way off in the final .avi file.
** 1 - as depicted in above image, i am using the EVR filter. however, due to the issues (as stated above/below) i have to use the VMR filter, but with slight side-effect.
**2 - the issue with the picture and renderer was probably due to my limited graphics card features and/or something else in combination.
