To stream a live video in a network with multicast address

Hi All,

I am working in a research center were we are using IPTV setup.Now we need to multicast the live video from a HD camera (HDMI out) in to the network.We tried it by using VLC player but we are getting a delay for the same.Can any one suggest me a good software for live multicast streaming .

I tried in VLC with the commands, but it is still giving the slowness,can you suggest any other streaming software ..
