Sacrelige?

I know some film buffs will consider this sacrelige, but here goes anyway. I'm currently converting some of my older VHS tapes into VCDs using Dazzle DVC-USB. And, it's doing a pretty good job. But, if the software is available, I'd like to go one step further -- at least to experiment.

Some of these old VHS tapes were filmed in black and white. Is there a software utility available to "colorize" them ... in the same way some film studios have colorized earlier black and white releases?
