Encoding Failed.......Audio Failure For Long Clips

I don't know why. While trying to get the best setting, encoding avi to mpeg have no problem, but that for clips with 5-10 minutes. After got the best setting for my system, I try to cap satellite tv program up to one hour. Nothing wrong with the clips, but after encoding to mpeg with TMPGEnc, the output file only have audio for about 2 minutes.....WHY.....??????

If you capture to AVI from Virtual Dub (VDub) and then convert to TMPGEnc, remember to do the following ALWAYS:

Run the captured video through VDub's Video-->Scan video stream for errors. If there are any junk frames, remove them before continuing.

Save the audio from the AVI file as a .wav file.

Rather frameserving or direct encoding using VDub/TMPGEnc, load the original video as video input, and the .wav file as the audio input, select your teplate and encode.

Thanks... I'll try this afterwards.....but, if I'm not mistaken, I read somebody did this having problem with audio sync and need to use the interleaving etc to correct the problem. But, I'll tell you after trying your suggestion.
