  1. Hi I am new on here and really desperate for help.
Basically we lost our precious 9 yr old daughter 2 yrs ago www.lauramcpheememorial.webs.com (uk) we opened a charity in her name that's not it.
But what I need help with is I have found dvds with my daughter on it, I don't want the entire dvd but only the bits she is in on them, also the school one I have been told I have to blur out the others in the dvd before I can share with family and friends. As that is all I have left of her these 3 dvds please can anyone help me on how I would be able to edit the dvds and just have the sections I want of her and put them all on a dvd my self. ie. my daughter on 5 times in one dvd, then twice on another and so on. I don't want all the dvd only the parts she is on. Can anyone help me in anyway get my most precious possession onto just one dvd. many thanks
from a heartbroken mum and dad thankyou

it's not too hard. one way is to use the free program dvdshrink in re-author mode and use it to cut out just the parts you want. another is to convert the vobs to a single mpg with vob2mpg and then cut the parts with something like mpg2cut2. or if you have a video editing program like vegas studio it could easily do the job.

i wouldn't worry about blurring anyone's face for not for profit home/friend use. that's a thing needed to be done for broadcast purposes with non-willing participants.

I'll do the whole project for you free. (Except helping you rip the VOB's and splitting out the parts you want)
