  1. Hi all, i used the walkthrough here to burn a NTSC SVCD from an mpg file (MPEG-2 480x480, 29.97fps) using nero. When i try to play it with powerdvd4 i get 2 error messages, "Error Code: 89020003 - The DVD disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation" and then "Error Code: 80004003 - Invalid Pointer". A google search offers few hints, one being to install new aspi drivers w2kaspi10701 and also the official powerdvd patch to build 1811 is sposed to fix error code 89020003. Both these suggestions fail to make any difference.

does anyone know of a fix ? this is my first attempt at making a svcd, hopefully im doing it right :P

    (running win2000 btw)

  3. Either that software doesn't like that format OR your CD reader doesn't like that type of media.
