    Problem solved.

    I am working on a project (workspace 1920x1080) in Sony Vegas Pro 11 and have a video clip (1280x594) that I want to place
    in the top left corner.
    But when I move the video up or down it disappears behind black bars.

    Is there any kind soul out there who would be able to help me out with this?

    Sounds line you want to do a Picture in Picture vid. Have you looked at the tutorials on youtube?

    Nah, of course I didn't. Why didnät I think of that before!?
    I've always used crop/pan to move around things but what I should have been using is the Track Motion option.
