  1. i tried to burn my vcd files and it automatically encode it.
    why does it do this when it is a vcd file already. every vcd file i have it wont work. cuz it thinks it hasn't been encode or sumtin.
    i burn this file b4 with the old nero version. whats goin on?? plez help me. thx ...

  2. Not familiar with Nero Express (not sure what that is)... I've used Nero 5.5.1.8 extensively, and whenever it tells you that an MPG is not VCD compliant, you're in for trouble. In every instance I've seen, one has had the option to tell Nero "NO, don't encode the file!" Just burn the damn thing! huff huff

    Anyways, how are you encoding your MPG files? Are you sure they are VCD compliant? If they aren't actually compliant, then your problem isn't with Nero. However, since it was working fine with the older Nero, you may just want to go back if possible. But chances are that your files aren't 100% compliant to begin with if they don't work with all software, but I'm just guessing. It may be a bug in Nero(?).

  4. you should be able to go from express to classic. when express starts click on the little ? mark in the lower corner then click on enter another serial number enter your serial number and it will go back to classic and you can tell nero not to encode the file again.. but in express i dont think there is a way around it. besides making sure the file is 100% compliant
