How to create custom Chapters in: H.264 MP4 (no audio track)

Thx. for replying. I followed uzzikie's guide & ended up w/ this error in the Advanced tab after the multiplex was 'successfully completed', as per the confirmation popup:

MP4ERROR: FindTrackId: Track index doesn't exist - track 0 type soun
MP4 must already include audio track in order to add QuickTime chapters

Upon testing, the chapter functionality in the multiplexed MP4 doesn't work. It seems you can't add chapters to MP4s w/o audio w/ this program.

As for QT 7.7.2 Pro, someone plz. provide instructions on how to add chapters.

as far as I remember: Quicktime doesn't support chapters in video only files, iTunes does, so if you want to have chapters in a file that is supported by quicktime add a silent audio stream to it.

I was able to accomplish my target, thanks to a tutorial at murphymac.com. The only step that had to be changed was selecting 'add to movie' instead of 'add to selection and scale'. cheers!
