how to play movies in DVD players??

I just found out how to burn the bin files to CD and watch them in my dvd player, but how do I get already converted movie files to play on DVD players? .avi .mpg etc. do I have to convert them to vcd or what. I use nero for my burning.

They have to be (X)(S)VCD to play in DVD players. Look at the VCD link on the left at the top and read up on the specifications to start there. Then Find out what type of files you have that you wanna play in your dvd player, and if you need to convert them to match the specifications you just read. Then read the how to section on the left to find out how to convert your file type...

It would take too long to explain what you need to do in order to watch the movies on your DVD player. So just read what's already written...
