If you are trying to convert a PAL file to NTSC you will run into Buffer Underflow problems. go to the http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm sections for info PAL vs NTSC.
If you are still getting underflow problems. run the basic multiplex. If this doesn't work. Trash the file and re-convert the file using the settings suggested at http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm. the only info on buffer underflow is that your audio file is a different size than your video file. No one seems to know anything else. I think once they find a way around the prob, They move on and don't care why it works. Good luck
