  1. hi i have an svcd mpg file thats 795 mb and nero says that my cd-rw cant hold it my discs are 700 mb cd's .. am i using the wrong cd type?

  2. the original mpg is 795 mb then it comes to 702 when ready to burn and it says the cd can hold 703 mb im confused

  3. sounds like the original source disc has been overburned. you should be able to burn that large of a disc. are you trying to copy the disc? what type of file is it? dat. i use nero and have never had a problem with files that large. have you tryed to download the latest version of nero patches that may fix this problem for you at ahead.com

    a 80 minute CD can hold 800+MB of mode 2 data(do a search for mode 2)
    Nero, however, sometimes grossly overestimates the final size of a
    (S)VCD when you drag and drop an mpeg. your best bet would be to use VCDeasy to author an image and then either burn image in Nero, or use daemontools to mount the image and do a cd copy.
