    It is important to me to know if the DVD Workshop has the ability to capture directly to mpeg, using the option of Scene Detection / Split by Scene (the VS6 which I am using now can use this option only to AVI capturing).

    Yes, DVD Workshop has these functions. And I'll suggest to use version 1.2, that is stable.

    eh - thats not right.

    DVD-Workshop does capture to mpeg1/2 - but not with any kind of scenedetection or automatic split by scene.

    In fact there are no software on earth today that can do this on mpegfiles.
