Currenty I'm downloading MMC 7.1 from ATI website due to the problem that I had with VCD White book compliant..
I'm also instaling directX 8.0 as recommended.
But now my I cannot run TV capture at all, and the error said..
"ensure the correct video drivers have been installed and close any application which may be playing video such as DVD or WebTV before attempting to restart TV"
But I'm not running any program that the error msg said..
And the funny thing is when I'm contact the ATI, they said that the problem occur because I'm using ATI on board in my Notebook...!! Notebook...??? I'm using PC and my ATI is PCI card.. how on earth the PCI card can fit in the notebook case..???
I Hope this forum can help me, because I'm already buy this product for a year and never use it for capture any videos...

install directX 8.0a video capture Update
install ATI DVD 4.1
check the devices in your device manager to make sure none have (!) on them
in win9x use drivers 4.12.6292
if it still doesn't work, reinstall these drivers, MMC, and DVD.
if you're in win9x and it prompts you to replace a newer file with version 5.x.xx.xxx with the one from the install that's version 4.xx.xxxx say yes, the 5.xxxx stuff is for the NT/2K OS's. -
Thank you for your prompt reply
Currently I'm using ATI driver 4.13.7078 can it be a the problem..??
