Hi,
Maybe a stupid question, but I really don't know the answer: mkv files that you can find on the net (torrents, emule etc) - do they have 5.1 audio or just stereo?

Ask the one who created the mkv....
But buy or rent your movies on dvd or blu-ray and you sure will get 5.1 on most movies.
