I am looking for a media player to connect to TV. I am currently running TVersity on a Win XP machine (dual core Intel about 3 years old with 2Gb RAM). For my media player we are using an Xbox 360.

I want to move the Xbox to a different location and get some sort of media player to replace it.

I am hoping to find something that I can use with TVersirty or some other means to stream/read the content off my PC. Another bonus will be for something that is quiter than the Xbox 360. Since I have about 1TB of content already I would prefer not to replicate it onto another external drive to connect to the media player.

I have a wired network connection at my TV (as well as wireless). Oh yeah, I am also on a tight budget

Any thoughts/ideas/recommendations/links to stuff to read/etc. would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Asus O!Play, Seagate FreeAgent Theater, PopBox, Boxee Box.
