    i have a avi film lord of the rings and i making vcd, with virtual dub and tmpgenc but the avi is widescreen, and when i convert to mpg the screen change to full screen. whats the problem, please?

    In TMPGEnc, go to the Advanced tab and on the 'Video Arrange Method' choose 'Full Screen (Keep aspect ratio)' that should keep it with black bars on top and bottom.
