Okay, i usually DON'T ask game console system Q's here, but seeing as i really don't hang out on any gaming sites, and i see other people post them here, well not here in OT but...

If your 360 dvd rom drive goes out, do you have to replace it with the exact same drive make and model ?
Example, let's say if i have a 360 with a liteon drive and it fries or whatever, could i replace it with the Benq 360 drive ?
Mine has a Benq drive made in 2006 or something, maybe 2005, anyways, when i was flashing it to the latest firmware tonight it just popped into my mind and now i am curious.
If anyone knows or has a link to something that would give some info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

you need the serial key from the drive and you have to spoof it use jungleflasher
