Tivo and Nero

I physically hooked up the camcorder to the Tivo and had it manually record for 2 hours as I transfered home videos. They look fine on Tivo. I then transfered then to the PC and they look fine with Windows media player. When I user Nero 6.X, to copy to a DVD, and add the video clip. it only shows the top half of the picture. I have used nero to burn dvd of other programd Tivo recorded from cable with out any problems? Any ideas?

I fixed it. I found the program "Direct Show Filter Dump" and now it works fine. It converts the .tivo file into a working MPG. Nero can read it fine now.

yep i just got a tivo and looked everywehere for info on tivo to dvd/mpg tried many things didnt work then herd about direct show filter dump but the authors website is GONE and i could not find it anywhere to download finally accidently found it and now do not know where however i have it and works perfect. add the file and it strips the encryption and leaves you with a mog file. love it.
