    Hi.

I have a flv file which is 29min long that plays until 9:08sec and stops and plays back from the beginning. It happens with MPC, WMP, and Zoomplayer. With VLC it just stops playing. The thing is, when I forward the video a couple seconds past 9:08 in MPC or Zoomplayer it will continue to play until around 15min when it stops again so I have to forward the video again to continue playing. Is there a way to fix this?

MediaInfo says the video stream is encoded with H.263 codec
    Audio stream is mp3

    Thanks.

  2. Try re-wrapping the container

e.g. open in avidemux, set video & audio to "copy" , format to "flv", press save and enter extension (e.g. "myvideo.flv")

    If it's a corrupted download , try re-downloading it

Or try FLVExtract to extract raw streams, then re-wrap in another container like .mkv with mkvtoolnix, or YAMB for .mp4

Or you can try some of the video repair tools like video fixer, but most of them don't work very well

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried extracting with FLVextract and making the video into an mkv file, but the resulting file is only 9:10sec.

    Same thing with avidemux.
