    Hi

    My mother inlaw copied some videos to dvds for me , Been trying to get to play them on pc and dvd player but they will not play. I tried windows player and real player on my pc but just keep getting a black screen would be greatfull for any help.

    try media player classic (tools, free, search). If that won't work (I suspect it may not), the discs were incorrectly done.

    Open the drive in My Computer and see if it has a VIDEO_TS folder,if it does then drag the folder to your desktop and run it through DVDShrink to see if it has errors.If it doesn't have a VIDEO_TS folder or you can't open it in DVDShrink then you will have to convert the video.
    My guess is she recorded in VR mode or didn't finalize the disc,if that's the case then use IsoBuster.
