    I want a dvd maker for 720p .mp4 files from my Flip cam. I'm not trying to make Bluray,HD discs. Just standard dvds. Free is better. Will pay for user friendly app.

    AVStoDVD, DVD Flick, FAVC - all free.

    If you want better menus, take the output from AVStoDVD (it can produce just elementary streams if required) and author in DVD Styler, DVDAuthorGUI or GUIForDVDAuthor. Again, all free.
