    hi everyone,

    ive been playing around with copying blu ray disks, manage to rip and play back on computer without problems

    does any one know if its possible to take a m2ts file and convert it to divx without any loss of video, ive been told that the lastest version of divx supports this, but been unable to find an guides

    ANY conversion to a lossy codec (Divx, H.264, etc.) is theoretically lossy, but with a high enough bit rate you may not notice any difference.

    Divx 7 seems to actually be H.264 based on my understanding of what I've read. If you really want to use what is truly Divx and not H.264, just use a very high bit rate for your encode to get the right quality. Some programs like AutoGK allow you to specify quality as an output parameter, so you should set that as high as you can.
