    hey there guys,

i have a MSI motherboard and i recently used the live update program bundled with the motherboard to update my bios to the most recent version. The bios update mentioned it fixes a problem with prefetch or something. now everytime i start my computer, type in my password and let the computer boot up, as the tray icons slowly appear, a BSOD comes up with the following...

    ntaccess.net

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

what i managed to do so far was boot in safe mode and disable everything that boots up in msconfig. right now it lets me load firefox and doesnt BSOD. when i try to open live update it BSOD, i havent tried any other programs yet, but it seems like when the computer is under too much load it crashes, (Reffering to the msconfig configuration).

You of course created the bios backup before continuing with the update ... it's you way back to start.
