    Since their's alot of topics about converting RM and WMV here is some stuff.


    First, this is a stupid idea. These codecs are not designed to be decompressed so they destory a ton of data. Any data you do salvage will look extremely blockly and you will have extreme sync problems.

    MPEG and AVI are desgined to be decoded. They support this. Windows Media and RM do not.

    And to convert from RM to WMV is even stupider because you will destory even more.


    Next time, download the file in MPEG.

    Ok how do I download a live real stream in to mpeg?
    what if the file is not avail in mpeg format.
