  1. I have a movie thats kinda dark and want to lightenin it up a little..... i looked but didnt see a brightenin control in tmpegnc. So do i hve to use another program or is there a plugin that i have to use to brighten up the movie???????

    Try loading it in VDub. It has a brightening filter.

    go to the advanced tab in the settings window and doubleclick on basic color correction and adjust your brightness there but be CAREFULL usually video that looks dark on a pc will look right on a tv...

    also, if you go into the settings/advanced/[x]custom color correction,
    there, you can click on the "[x] overlay" box and the true output that
    you see on TV (or close) will be shown. this is what you want, when
    you are adjusting your colors. If you don't [x] this box, you'll have
    great difficulty in adjusting your colors accuratly.

  5. thanks.... i wll try this right away ......also since i am now doing dvd's instead of vcd's is there any other settin i should put to make my dvd's look better...... especially since they are dl movies
