I've been downloading those high quality quicktime trailers for the matrix and starwars. What i want to do is convert them to vcd but the movies are 24 fps. I don't think that i'm really sure on how to convert these movies over.
Here's what i've been doing:
1.)open the movie in TMPGEnc 2.5x
2.)Convert the Video to MPG1 23.976fps NTSC(film)
3.)save the audio to wav and squeeze it down to 99.9% of the original with Nero Wave Editor and convert it to MPEG with TMPGEnc 2.5x
4.)Multiplex the two streams with TMPGEnc 2.5x
Now I can already see that I've got plenty of room for error in using this method. But I don't know if i have the right tools. The reason I squeeze the audio using %'s is because Nero Wave Editor will only let you use %'s and I can never get Cooledit to work. And when I convert the Video Part I can't find out the exact time of the MPG ( you know down to the millisecs.)
What can I do? Or How Should I do It?...
