Hello,
I live in Europe where the tv standard is PAL. My vcr is said to be able to play NTSC too. While trying to capture a ntsc tape from the vcr with Pinnacle/Miro dc 10) I only get black and white images. Ive changed the tv standardsettings to NTSCn. Has anyone got an idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you.

You video is either outputting NTSC 4.43 or PAL 60 .
You either need a video which will output the correct NTSC M american standard or buy a standard converter
Standards Converter / TBC you get two functions in one box for £300 they will even ship internationally

I have the same problem playing back NTSC tapes on my Australian (PAL) VCR. It is NTSC compatible and plays back the NTSC tapes in colour on the TV and it appears in colour on my Capture Card (Pinnacle AV/DV board and Blue Box) but when I capture the movie, it only captures in B&W. Surely if it is possible to display it in colour on the TV and in the capture window on the PC it should be able to capture the movie in colour!
Any thoughts.
Thanks
