  1. Can anybody help me.Im trying to get advice on tv cards with tv out.I have been downloading movies then encoding them then burning them to vcd then copying them to video. This is a long process.I thought that if i download then play the movie on media player somehow hooked up to vhs i would cut out the whole encoding and vcd process. But i have been told it would be easier to get a second graphics card with tv out then to get just a tv card.I need to know if anybody can suggest the best cards for the job.

    Thanks

  2. I have been using the Matrox G 400 TV for several years with success.

Matrox isn't offering that card anymore, but they have a later model/version that should work.

Plus, I have been impressed with Matrox's forum with member and tech support staff answering questions and trying to help.

When I am ready for another card, I will certainly go to Matrox first.

Unless you want a card that can capture and export.....I would just get a good video card that has a TV out....My pinnacle capture board has in and out ...but it will only out put files that were encoded in its own format.....so I bought a ATi RadeonVE That has s and rca video out($65us) and can out put any thing that I can get to play on the screen.
