You can use windows movie maker and convert to a smaller wmv file. Or convert to avi divx/xvid with AutoGK, add the mpg, set the desired output file size and convert.

If quality is not too much of a concirn, and speed is, then you can also use the avenue
of uploading your video to YouTube, and then just give the people the URL address to
them and they can see your video(s) at their leasure and without any fuss, etc.
That's prob the quickest and easiest I can think of, and you won't have to worry about
    size or email, etc.

You only have to register, but its a very simple (and quick) process.

Course, there are other video uploading websites, like Google Video and a few more.
Some even offer slightly better quality, but I have seen some, subjectively. So you
will have to test various sites, if that's what you want to do when you get around
to it.., if you decide, that is.

  4. 2 other options include:

    1) Cut up the videos into 5mb fragments using winzip, winrar, or hj-split and send via e-mail. The recipient then can re-assemble the 5mb fragments

    2) Upload the video(s) to a file hosting site, such as megaupload, yousendit, rapidshare, mediafire (there are many, many others) and the recipient can then download them from those sites
