Hi,
When I play my short test files in my Apex ad-500 player,
some parts of the scenes will jerk, or go slowmotion, just
for a quick sec or less. ...even in slow moving scens.
Anybody know what causes this - my encoding, perhaps?
Basically, this is my encodeing parameters:
STREAM TYPE W x H Aspect R Frame Rate Rate Ctrl M CBR Bitrate
================================================== ===========================
MPEG-1 480 480 4:3 525 line 29.97 CBR 2520
VBV Buff Size Frame Type Field Order Aspect Rate Impage Position TIMED
================================================== ===========================
40 Progres even Fld Ln2 4:3 525LN full screen 2:37
Orig. Encode Kbits Commts
================================================== ===========================
320x480 850 DVD Ply=to many jerks/audio out sync
Note: Quality if much better if I "make movie" at the resolution of 480x480, but I'm still experiementing with
various resoultsions/bits settings. So far, I have 1 or 2
encodings that look pretty good on my tv via dvd player.
I have some clips of Directv shots, 2mg but no place to post
them. The storage site I use, never allows you to retrieve
your files. I always get a 403 error or something. My
web site only allows for 2mb. Not enought space.
Well, looking for some input on my jerky and slowmotion clips.
Thanks all.
PS: can somebody please SHRINK those iconic images that
always take for ever to download (diaplay) everytime I go
go ths main page to see lastest postings. I've seen many
45kb and 49kb size, when I know it can be much more smaller
than that. Its frustrating to wait for these same pages
to redisplay (even when cached) when I do a refresh.
