Ok, I am so frustarted I don't know what to do. I am getting <1% frame droppage and I good clean signal. Why is it that everytime I try to capture to DivXusing the method in the capture guide, the audio and video are out of sync? I even try to fix it according to the intructions.........nothing. When I started doing this a few weeks ago, no syncing problems at all. Now, every @#%ing time I capture the audio tends to run faster than the video. If I capture at 29.97fps the video will be 29.971 and the audio will be something like 30.017. Then I pick the option to make audio and video durations match and that makes no friggen difference. To be totally honest, this doesn't make any damned sense and I am just ready to say @#$% it!!!!!!

Just a thought, when you said a few weeks ago you didn't have any problems, have you checked the obvious stuff? Is the disk defragged? Closed other applications?

Yeah, sometimes I don't have any problems but most of the time the sync is terrible. I have defragged my hard drive 3 days ago and I make sure that no other apps are running before I capture. I usually get <1% frame droppage when I capture at 29.97 fps, especially from a DVD. But when I capture from VHS or TV I usually drop >1%. But I capture at 25 fps and it is still the same so, to save on memory I capture at 25 fps from TV or VHS. It's weird though, when I capture using huffyuv, no problems. Then I encode to DivX ;-). But, if I want to capture a movie, I am forced to try capturing to Divx ;-) again because of memory constraints. I guess I could just capture to huffyuv in parts and then just join them after they are encoded to DivX ;-). I just want to fix the problem. This shouldn't be happening anyway. It's weird, I know, but if I could nail down the problem that would be awesome. Thanks!
