Hey, Geniuses! (that's not a joke!)

Does anyone know an easy way to take a VIDEO_TS folder to MPEG2 format without re-encoding? I think I can do it with ffmpegx by demuxing and remuxing, but was looking for a one-step method. Afterwards, I was going to try SmallDVD or Tele2DVD to create a disc from multiple small DVDs.

    Thanks!!!

    MpegStreamclip.
Open non commercialed Video_Ts folder on HD,
select VOB, if necessary open all related VOB files
when prompted, then go File-->Convert to Mpeg.
(must have the QT Mpeg-2 component)

  3. Open VIDEO_TS in YadeX and Save as single VOB...Thats a MPEG2...Rename to .mpg if you want...You can export any chapter or cell of your choice to single VOB if you want too..Or whole main title...

Well, VOB != mpeg2. A VOB contains mp2 video, but isn't really an mpg file. They are similar enough for some apps to treat them as equals.
